Swimming With The Fishies

I mentioned in one of my last posts that a week or two ago my sister Hannah, my friend Amanda, and I all went on a mini road trip down to Baltimore. It was a GLORIOUS day!! We had SO much fun.  There were some majorly good heart-to-hearts, belly laughs, picture taking, and good music and food shared that day.

We ate at The Cheesecake Factory (only the 2nd time I have ever been in my life, the closest one is 2 hours away!!) OH my. I have no words to fully describe its deliciously wonderful mouth watering goodness:)
and, it was RIGHT on the beautiful harbor.

Then, we went to the Aquarium. SO much fun. I love, love, LOVE the ocean and it is just so amazing to look at all the beautiful (and some scary) creatures that God has created.

And we took lots of pictures, being our incredibly smooth selves:)

and I kissed a fish...picture...or, picture of a fish...

and then we took pictures out a the beautiful harbor and city at night.

VERY good day.  I love friends. And road trips. And cheesecake. And laughing. And all those put together? HECK yes!

Things I've Learned By Thursday

1. If a 3 year old ever calls you from the bathroom and says "Hey McKenzie! Come look, I want to show you something!" it is NEVER a good thing.

2. Coloring NEVER takes as long as you want it to. Especially with a group of 5 year olds, so plan another activity to keep them occupied.

3. If you are a devoted cheesecake lover like me, you NEED to go to The Cheesecake factory, like, yesterday, and one of the hardest decisions you will ever have to make in your life will be which cheesecake to get.

-my sister hannah and me-
(and yes, that is a red velvet cheesecake, the decsion I reached and almost died from a food coma after eating is deliciousity )

Tuned In Tuesday

This past Friday I actually had the WHOLE day off from both of my jobs. I am still reeling from the shock...and the purely awesome day I had with my sister Hannah and friend Amanda.  We took a mini road trip down to Baltimore (more on that later) and on the way home Amanda was introducing us to some pretty sweet tunes.
This is one of them.... it is SO amazing. Seriously.  It is hauntingly beautiful.  I have had it on repeat since Friday and I hope you love it as much as I do!

Tuned In Tuesday

So this past October my sister Hannah and I drove to Philly to see one of my absolute favorite bands, There For Tomorrow, oh boy I love this band.  Hence Kamrada being the name for my car
Well anyway...we went there and they were one out 5 bands which meant their set was going to be pretty darn short.  We were WAY anxious to see them, and they were supposed to be coming on second...first band goes on and off and then they start setting up for the second band. Hannah and I waited and waited and were looking at the equipment and they guys tuning their instruments thinking "hey, thats not christian's guitar," and "those aren't chris's drums...wait..."....then...a bunch of guys who were NOT There For Tomorrow started a song...OH NO THEY DIDNT!! We were freaking out to ourselves...until the lead singer came on...
Ok...maybe this isnt so bad....
...then....
 he spoke...
and yes, he had a BRITISH ACCENT.
 *insert swoon here*.
Ok, I am pretty sure we can wait ONE more band for There For Tomorrow:)

I have been OBSESSED with this song by his band, You Me At Six....I have seriously listened to it like 150 times over the past 3 days.
Turn the Volume up
Press play
Enjoy.
And feel free to swim in the pools that are his blue eyes with me.

I love these

It's so nice to be able to get some time to get online for once.  I've missed having the time to blog and window shop(if thats still what it's called online), and reply to emails and everything! But heck yes, I'm moving up in the world...I got a new phone, and this should help! I have been using my BlackJack since about 2006 or 2007, it even says "Cingular" on it...

...LOVE this phone, and it has been GREAT to me! But it's starting to clunk out a bit.,, like it won't let me take pictures anymore..so today I ordered a new one! It's a touch screen and still has a full keyboard, which I love.

I'm excited to get it:)

Last night I was at my job working...or trying to....through a sleepy stupor I was kinda browsing too...and I found this:

I am in LOVE with this dress!!!!! Like, whoa. I have been obsessed with the color yellow lately and this dress is beyond perfection. I will be buying it asap.

And this....oh MY this is a gorgeous hairstyle.

Now to actually try it out, and dye my roots.  Because, even though it may look like it, I am not actually trying to go for the ombre hairstyle. haha.

Tuned in Tuesday

Ok, let me just say that I love music.  Lots and lots.  I wish I had more talent with it...like singing...I would LOVE to be able to sing. But alas, lip synching is sometimes the best idea.  And not only that, it is the funnest, or so I have come to discover.
My sister and I started making "music videos" back a few halloweens ago when we were dressed up as Hannah Montana and her country singing cousin(that wasn't really on purpose). We picked out either cheesey, random, or some of our favorite songs(sometimes all three rolled into one) and just were our complete weird selves and lip sang and our little hearts out.  Most of the time we can barely get through without laughing.

This is one of our latest ones.  Fair warning: Be prepared for awesomeness;)

sidenote: yes, those are wigs:) I think I look like I could be Legolas's elven princess in it. hahah. (if you get that reference, I love you:)

My Heart Will Go On

Let me just say that one of my absolute, all time, FAVORITE movies ever is Titanic. Period. I remember learning about the Titanic in the 3rd grade and ever since have been fascinated with it's story...I've been to the exhibits for it like 5 times, I own like 100 books about it, and when the movie came out when I was like 9 or 10 and my mom said I couldn't see it, I was SO bummed! I waited for the day I was 13 and could watch it...and after thousands of times watching it since then and thinking over and over again
"Gee, I wish they would re-release this into theaters so I can see it on the big screen"
 low and behold...
DUN DUN DUN............. April 4, 2012, in 3D on IMAX.....I am SO there. With popcorn. And tissues.

I.cannot.stinking.wait. Seriously, every time a commercial comes on for this I get the goosebumps.
Who's with me?!
And seeing pictures like this helps me live in my delusion that Jack is alive and him and Rose are together.  "I'll never let go, Jack." :D

Oh Leo, how I love your pretty, pretty face:)
